Hello everybody! My name is Sina. My thainame is Sinarat. I'm an AFS student. I'll teach at Prachuapwittayalai School and at Anuban Primary School as a volunteer. I'm almost 20 years old and I come from Germany. I just finished Highschool in my hometown Freiburg. I learned English, French and Italian. (I'm not a native speaker so please forgive me if I make mistakes). After finishing school I wanted to go abroad and make new experiences. I'm happy to have the possibility to be here in Prachuap for one year. Two weeks ago I met my host-family. They are so lovely and friendly. They explain everything to me so I get to know Thai culture. Furthermore they find the time to teach me Thai. I'm surprised how well they speak English.
I'm glad to be here and I already feel comfortable in my new home and in this cute little town.
For me as a vegeterian it was not easy at the beginning. But with the help of my family I discover a lot of unknown and delicious Thai food I can eat. Thank you again for all the special meals!
Thai people are very friendly. I hope they'll forgive me if I make mistakes because I just get to know the rules of thai-life. More impressions will follow....
